Join us at the Rowdy Radish in Seward, Alaska for this In Person workshop, “Choosing the Right Business Entity,” for an in-depth training from Kelly Ann Cavaretta, Business Advisor at the Seward SBDC. During this In Person workshop, you’ll explore the various business entities available, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, LLCs, and corporations. Kelly Ann will guide you through the pros and cons of each option, helping you understand how factors like liability, taxes, and management structure can impact your decision. Whether you’re launching a new venture or considering a change to your existing business, Kelly Ann will equip you with the knowledge you need to make an informed choice that aligns with your business goals.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Kelly Ann Cavaretta, Business Advisor, Seward Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Kelly Ann Cavaretta is a seasoned entrepreneur in tourism, expertly managing the challenges of Seward’s intense seasonal business environment. She brings invaluable firsthand entrepreneurial insight as the owner of Salted Roots Cabins and Seward’s downtown restaurant, Flamingo Lounge. In addition to her business ventures, Kelly Ann is a Small Business Advisor for the Alaska Small Business Development Center and is pursuing an MBA at UAF.

WORKSHOPS, FEES & ENTERING DISCOUNT CODES:
- “No Fee” Workshops: No credit card is required. To access our workshops, click on "Workshops" from the menu on the left. To register for a workshop, open it, click on "Sign Up" above the workshop title, and follow the prompts. If this is an On Demand workshop, click on “To view the course.” Enter your first name, last name, and email address. Click on “Register.” You'll now have access to the workshop video. If the audio is muted, click on the volume icon to unmute the volume.
- Workshops with a Fee: You'll be prompted to enter your payment information. If you have a "Discount Code" enter it in the "Coupon Code" box, and click "Save." Access to the workshop video and handouts will be available after payment has been processed. You'll be emailed a receipt. To access our workshops, click on "Workshops" from the menu on the left. To register for a workshop, open it and click on "Sign Up" above the workshop title. Click on “To view the course.” Enter your first name, last name, and email address. Once you've signed in, click on “My Events,” from the menu on the left. Select the workshop from the list of workshops you've registered for. Scroll down. Below the “QUESTIONS OR TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES” section, you'll see the list of any available presentation handouts for that workshop to download and open.
