Rhodiola rosea tea has been used for thousands of years by northern peoples for its stimulating effects, particularly to improve mental and physical performance in times of stress. Used for centuries by warriors and athletes, it is also used by healers for its adaptogenic effects.

 dried Rhodiola rosea root chipsper desired cup

Make enough for a week at a time. Put one tablespoon of dried root chips for each desired cup into a glass pitcher or jar. Pour in the desired cups of boiling water and let it cool a bit. Then place in the refrigerator for a few hours to steep. Lightly sweeten if desired; tastes great with a small amount of Kahiltna Birch Syrup. Drink warm or cold but do not reboil. Drink 1-2 cps a day but avoid using in the late afternoon or evening as it may interfere with sleep.
