Sea Asparagus Pesto Turkey Meatballs

Our pesto is packed with superfood sea asparagus (salicornia), all the flavor you expect from a delicious pesto sauce, AND it delivers a nutritious punch without sacrificing flavor. Ingredients
 1 lb. ground turkey
 1/2 c. breadcrumbs
 1/4 c. milk
 1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
 pinch of nutmeg
 2 Tbsp. olive oil
Method

Season the meat with salt and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Soak the breadcrumbs in milk.

Combine all ingredients into a bowl and gently mix with your hands until just incorporated. Scoop approximately 1.5 tablespoons of meat mixture at a time and gently form into balls with your hands.

Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat until oil is shimmering. Add meatballs and cook until browned and cooked through.

Serve on your favorite pasta or as a sandwich!
