As members of 1% for the Planet, Out to Sea is committed to exploring in a way that is both environmentally conscious & respectful of local communities, donating 1% of all sales to the research & conservation efforts of Audubon Alaska. In 2020, as a result of reduced tourism, Out to Sea converted part of their outfitting space into an outdoor gear & gift shop offering quality outdoor equipment, Made in Alaska gifts, and rental gear including packrafts & paddleboards.
