Calypso Farm and Ecology Center is a non-profit, educational farm in Fairbanks, Alaska offering hands-on education programs for community members of all ages.
Calypso was established in 2000 and has grown to host an array of educational programs from farming and homesteading to blacksmithing and fiber arts. Our diversified garden provides fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers for CSA members and farmers markets during the growing season. Our online shop features colorful yarns, hand-spun with wool from our flock of happy Shetland sheep, hand-forged items from our on-farm Smithy, and many other farm-made gifts.
