MatSu Metal Works was formed in 2016, in the spirit of entrepreneurship, to offer welding and fabrication services at a reasonable price to the community. MSMW began in a home shop, taking on its first employee part-time in March of 2020. By 2021, MSMW had expanded to a commercial shop and office in Palmer and added full-time employees. MSMW promotes the values of hard work, determination, honesty, and respect with the goal of becoming the foremost trusted provider of welding and fabrication services in the Mat Su Borough and beyond.
