Spirit of Alaska’s Geist Branch is conveniently located on the west side of Fairbanks. The Geist branch offers a full spectrum of local financial services, including lending services, a single lane drive-up, and an ATM. Membership has many benefits, from great auto & powersports loan rates and affordable credit cards, to modern online services. To provide innovative service our members, Spirit of Alaska adopted digital technology early on. We continually improve services such as online banking and our mobile app to keep pace with the changing banking industry and best security practices. Our members enjoy a unique rewards program and perks for those age 55 and over.

Established in 1960 by four University of Alaska Fairbanks teachers, Spirit of Alaska Federal Credit Union has grown with Fairbanks. Credit union leadership and employees, located in Fairbanks, deliver stable growth and excellent service to our members. As a local community partner, Spirit of Alaska sponsors numerous sports teams, University programs and local iconic events, helping to shape Fairbanks into a dynamic place to live in the midst of the Alaskan climate. We celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2010. Today, Spirit of Alaska serves approximately 9,000 members and we’re looking forward to another 50 years of earnest participation in our community.
