The Musk Ox Farm is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the the promotion of gentle musk ox husbandry, qiviut production and education to the public. Nestled in the Matanuska Valley just north of Palmer, you’ll find our sprawling, 75-acre farm – a project steeped in uniqueness and intrigue, from the animals we raise to the story that brought us here.

When you visit you will see and learn about the largest herd of musk oxen in human care and their amazing fiber! We have a small museum (currently under renovation) and gift shop with locally made musk ox inspired goodies.
