The Fred Astaire Dance Studio-Anchorage has been sharing dance with Alaskans and guests since 1978–for over 46 years now! We bring to those who enter our doors the many benefits of dance–improving your physical well-being, increasing your mental capacity, reducing your stress, and improving your social life, all while having FUN! Fred Astaire Dance Studio brings those benefits through the use of private instruction, group instruction, and dance practice parties. Dances taught include ballroom, Latin, swing, country-western, nightclub, Argentine tango, and more. Our students range from ages 6 through “so-long-as-you-can-walk”. In addition, we specialize in wedding dance lessons for wedding couples, their parent dances, as well as the bridal party. We have Saturday night dance parties and Holiday Balls. Finally, we sell dance merchandise, e.g., dance shoes.
